Cyprus Local Travels operates solely as a neutral online intermediary that connects users with selected local car rental companies. We do not operate as a car rental company, travel agency, broker, agent, or insurer, and we do not provide transportation services of any kind.
We collaborate exclusively with trusted local, family-operated car rental companies (“partners”). However, we do not make car rental offers, confirm availability, set prices, or enter into rental agreements with users. Any rental agreement is concluded exclusively between the user and the selected partner.
2. Independent Partner Disclaimer
All car rental companies featured on our platform are independent third-party partners. The use of the term “partner” does not imply any partnership, agency, employment, joint venture, or representative relationship.
Partners operate independently and are solely responsible for their vehicles, services, pricing, rental terms, insurance coverage, and legal compliance. Cyprus Local Travels does not control, manage, or supervise partner operations.
3. Bookings, Payments, and Modifications
Cyprus Local Travels does not process or handle bookings, payments, deposits, refunds, cancellations, amendments, or reservation changes. We do not have access to, store, or manage booking details, including rental dates, times, locations, vehicle categories, or pricing.
We cannot amend, modify, cancel, or edit any car rental reservation and cannot contact partners on behalf of users. All booking-related matters must be handled directly with the selected car rental provider.
4. Insurance, Accidents, and Damages
We do not provide car insurance, accident insurance, damage coverage, roadside assistance, or emergency support. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and accepting the partner’s insurance terms, liability coverage, and rental conditions before entering into a rental agreement.
Cyprus Local Travels shall not be contacted and bears no responsibility for accidents, vehicle damage, theft, injuries, fines, disputes, or incidents occurring during the rental period.
5. Complaints, Feedback, and Partner Evaluation
While Cyprus Local Travels does not manage rentals or resolve disputes, we may, at our discretion, review complaints or feedback if we become aware of them. Such reviews are conducted solely for internal quality assessment and to evaluate whether a partner should continue to be listed on our platform.
This process does not constitute supervision, dispute resolution, or acceptance of responsibility for partner actions or services. All claims and disputes must be addressed directly with the relevant car rental provider.
6. Cookies
Cyprus Local Travels uses cookies to enhance user experience and website functionality. Required cookies are necessary for the operation of the website and do not require consent. Optional cookies may be used for statistical or marketing purposes and can be accepted or declined by users.
